Teresa C. Urquhart was named Market Chief Executive Officer of Piedmont Medical Center, which includes Piedmont Rock Hill and Piedmont Fort Mill, in August 2023.

Urquhart has experience leading teams to enhance services including cardiovascular, surgical services, trauma and women’s health to meet the evolving healthcare needs to diverse and growing communities. Most recently, she served as CEO of Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, a sister facility.

Urquhart received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Records Administration at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. She continued her education and earned her Master of Arts in Health Services Administration from Webster University in El Paso, Texas.
